Mission Statement
To protect and enhance the quality of life for victims of sexual violence and child abuse in our community by providing a trauma sensitive, specialized approach to assess, identify, treat and prevent sexual assault and child abuse through the coordination of community resources.
Our History
Since March of 2000, the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (Gulf Coast CAC) has transformed the lives of victims of child abuse and sexual violence by offering a refuge for victims and their families to cope with the terrible crimes of child abuse and sexual assault while reducing the fear and further trauma that disclosure and investigation often creates.
Our Purpose
CAC operates on the fundamental belief that the best interests of the a victim should be protected. Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) provides a compassionate alternative to traditional investigations.
Florida has a very broad public records laws. Most written communications to or from the Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center business are public records and are available to the public and media upon request.
