Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center Brings Holiday Hopes to More Than 600 Local Children This Christmas Season

Panama City, Fla. — Each year, the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (Gulf Coast CAC) ensures that the joy and warmth of the holiday season reaches some of the community’s most vulnerable children through its annual Holiday Hopes program.
Through this initiative, more than 600 local children—all of whom are currently receiving services from the Children’s Advocacy Center—are provided with meaningful Christmas gifts. These children and their families have experienced abuse, trauma, or significant hardship, and Holiday Hopes offers an opportunity for added support, dignity, and joy during a season that can otherwise be especially difficult.
On average, $200 per child is needed to meet the program’s Christmas giving goal, which includes age-appropriate gifts and essential items. Community members, businesses, and organizations are invited to partner with Gulf Coast CAC by contributing in one or more of the following ways:
● New toys
● New shoes and clothing
● Gift cards for teens to local fast-food restaurants or retail stores
● Monetary donations
Monetary contributions can be made securely online at www.gulfcoastcac.org/donate and allow the
Center to meet the greatest and most immediate needs of children and families served.
“The children we serve are incredibly resilient, and they are deserving of hope, generosity, and care—especially during the holiday season,” said Lori Allen, CEO. “Holiday Hope is a powerful reminder of what our community can do together to make a lasting difference.”
Community support is essential to the success of Holiday Hope and helps ensure that every child served by the Center experiences the magic and comfort of Christmas.

🌟 Big shoutout to Rivertown Community Church! 🌟

We are incredibly grateful to all three campuses of Rivertown Community Church for their unwavering support and generosity. During April, in honor of Child Abuse Awareness Month, the church held their “Four Dollars For Charity” event and chose the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center as their charity of choice.

Every April, RCC stands with us to bring attention and support to our mission, and this year was no exception. They went above and beyond by collecting the most needed supplies from our list, as well as generous monetary donations from their members and staff.

Thank you, Rivertown Community Church, for believing in our mission and helping us make a difference in the lives of children in our community. Together, we are stronger! 💙💚
